  1. Anyone figure out the puzzle after placing the gears? It’s the one with 10 things of numbers to dial in.

  2. So stuck on 34, any tips? I’m not sure i’m getting it, why isn’t the puzzle solved when you get a 6 show at the top? Can you buy enough hints to just jump the puzzle? Thanks.

    • Liz, hints are just hints and unfortunately don’t give you the “solved” stamp. I skipped 34. I will probably never return to it because later on there are more impossible/too boring to finish type puzzles (Tower of Hanoi for one!).

    just click on the “help me” to advance 1 step at a time. Yes, it’s cheating however given that have limited number of turns to figure it out kind of is impossible if you don’t know the algorithm. Every move done correctly leaves you with only 9 extra moves!!! Talk about hard.

    This might help a little for the sliding picture, like Sophie was saying, but in less words, 😉 start with the clock and work your way down trying to get the dog then get the picture pieces towards the upper left corner and other pieces just in their general area then you can do the small square jumps to put in exact locations. Took me about 5 times and I honestly think I got lucky on the”random” arrangement of starting pieces the last time. Good luck.

  6. Puzzle 59 – Combination

    Brute forced it with a little computer program; arrange three consecutive rows with the following numbers:
    4 4 2 2
    3 3 3 3
    5 1 1 5.

    • Or the using logic: don’t move the left one at all. Find the 5 on the left column and note the other three combined must equal 7 at that row. Then it’s just a few combinations to try!.

    I would post the solutions but they’re quite long. 47 is 115 moves -.-.

      • The puzzle changes every time unfortunately, the numbers that are already placed are different every time you load the puzzle.

          • Hi clc, Lucas problem solution is available here somewhere in these comments. Just do a search on this page for lucas or you can find the solution on on Wikipedia, it’s an ancient puzzle!.

        • It doesn’t matter that the puzzles change every time. You can always use the solution Nerdr provided.
          For example, I got something like:
          _16_ _
          _ _ 11 _
          _ _ _ _
          _ _ _ _
          So with Nerdr’s solution i know all the numbers that have to go in the 16’s column and I know all the numbers that have to go in the 11’s column. I also know that I have to place the correct numbers in the space that intersect’s 16 and 11’s column”

          _ 5 11 _
          _ _ _ _
          _ _ _ _
          Just fill in from there. 16’s row could be: 3 16 2 13 so then
          11’s row would be: 10 5 11 8.

  11. Both my wife and I are stick on sliding puzzles 39 & 46. Puzzle 39 we have literally tried for 3 days and we can’t get it. We’d appreciate any direction or theories for the sliding block puzzles.

  12. Number 21…rotating picture. I cannot figure it out! Does anyone know if the 8 is like the number eight or the infinity side to side? That would be a huge help.

  13. Another one stuck on 21, and I’ve now done every other available puzzle. 98/100, and this one still defeats me!
    Ive tried looking at the way the spaghetti lines are shaded, and even though I am pretty sure I’ve lined everything up correctly, I’m still not getting it right somewhere. I’m also wondering if the square with the 8 is properly orientated, plus the squares left, and diagonally down left to the square with the 8 don’t seem to fit.
    Anyone have a screen grab, or any other advice on this one, cos it’s doing me in!.

    • How did you get past the boards at 90/100? For 21 I had to buy a hint and that gives you infinite time. The 8 should be right side up.

      • Erm…regarding the boards. I just tapped the top-most board until the nails fell out, & it disappeared, then did the same with the next one, then the last one.

        • Thanks. I think my game may be frozen. No amount of tapping does anything and anywhere on the screen where I tap I get the “smoke” effect used when you tap an inactive area.

  14. I’m stuck on puzzle 50. Anyone got any clues? It is the 1-8 puzzle.

    • I dealt with puzzle 50 by placing the 1 in one of the middle 2 sections, then surrounding it with 3,4,5,6,7,8, then tweaking until they matched the rules. 2 just went in the remaining slot,.

  15. Another question…does anyone know why if I bought a hint for number 21, which gave me unlimited time. I did not get past it last night so I put it down. Now when I go to complete it today, the timer is back. That is ridiculous if this app doesn’t give you your hint after turning the app off for awhile.

    Can someone please post a picture. I have been trying to solve it for a day now and its starting to irritate me. I tried starting on the outside first and working in but some of the lines i cant figure out. HELP PLEASE.

    • You have got to tap on the bust that you think is copying the other. I found it tricky and it took me 2 whole days to do it.

    • Try to find the two busts that are following the same pattern, than tap the copy cat bust first and the original bust second. This is definately a little tricky. Good luck!!!.

  22. I take my hat off for the person who’s designed the final (100th) puzzle. The answer is a work of beauty. Here it is!

    This is how it works: all ten numbers correspond with one of the 99 levels. I’m sure most of you had already noticed the 8 in the noodles, and the gleaming 6 in the 1-8 game. There are ten of these. You might want to give the following levels another look, even though it almost always means you have to do them again: (if you don’t want to, just scroll down for the answers!)

    Level 4: Compare the ‘done’ stamp to other stamps – do you see a difference?
    Level 21: There’s something hidden in this picture
    Level 35: Compare the ‘done’ stamp to other stamps – do you see a difference?
    Level 36: Do you notice anything about the shape of the tangram?
    Level 50: Once you’ve solved this one, a number lights up
    Level 54: Once you’ve got the picture, look closely at the Mannequin (sleeve)
    Level 59: Once you’ve solved this one, a number lights up
    Level 70: Once you’ve solved this one, a number lights up
    Level 90: Once you’ve solved this, look closely at the Mannequin (ear)
    Level 95: Once you’ve solved this, you’ve got the last number!

    We just wanted to drop into this thread to say ‘wow’, this is some awesome detective work and it’s great to see so much perseverance and commitment :)

    When we came up with the idea for The Curse, all we hoped for was a game that people would enjoy and talk about, and it means a lot to see everyone working together to solve these puzzles and riddles.

    We hope you’re all enjoying the game and apologies if we’ve caused a few headaches along the way.

    • Is Level 34 akin to Voldemort? No one is mentioning it! I have got number 6 twice on this, I understood that this would indicate having got the solution correct or at least the correct symbols not necessarily in the correct order. When it didn’t solve, having turns remaining, I tried the same symbols in a different order and got a ZERO! Even more baffling: when I got 6 again I submitted the same symbols only to get zero again. This one is blowing my mind. Any ideas?.

  26. Can anyone help with the last 2 lights out puzzles? 92 and 98. I bought hints but can’t do them even with unlimited moves.

    • I mean 92 and 96. I can get both down to one light but can’t complete.

      • Type in lights out puzzle solver into google and click the top link then input the problem and click solve and follow the steps.
