There’s a beam of light from the crystal, but it’s not focused properly. Zoom in to the teleporter. You can rotate the lower golden portion of it to focus the laser beam. Do that now to reveal a tiny, weighted flywheel.
Move to the panel that is one to the right of the gold SIGIL picture safe puzzle. At the lower left of this panel is a small contraption. Insert the flywheel here. Slide both switches at the same time to show a drawer. Open the drawer to get the camera light. Described as “some sort of device for reflecting light”. This drawer contains a secret hidden panel! Tap the back part with the square to get the hexagonal piece of map. Insert this map piece into the big globe to get the brass winding handle with a square pin.
Attach this light device to the TOP part of the teleporter from earlier. The light will not attach to the lower area, only the top area. This will reveal the meter.
What do these buttons below the light do? Well, you need to press the right button, zoom out, find the newly opened button at the top of the table in a similar position to the first buttons. Press that button, then zoom out again. Then find another meter button. Press that and finally get a piece of map.
A star shaped piece of map. Tibet, I think. Insert the star shaped piece of map into the big globe.
Now return to the light meter with two pentagon buttons. Press the left button this time. Zoom out, rotate, press another meter like before. You will eventually find a brass key with multiple folding parts. I wonder where we will put this. Nerdr.com walkthrough and guides.
Find the big side panel with the cross keyholes. Insert the cross key into the panel. Each part of the cross only takes one key. Two of the keys remain at the lower part of the key. Pick up another small reflecting device. Add this other small reflecting device to the laser teleporter.
Enter eyepiece view mode and move the sliders on the sides until the laser hits the lower left. There are many positions so try not to get stuck here. Solving this puzzle will reveal the starlight and you get the oddly shaped piece of map. Part of South America. Attach South America to the globe.
Move to the golden circle with a nice picture and insert the brass handle level into the square hole. Rotate the handle to show a wooden circle. Enter magic eye view and align the image. Remember you can rotate the central part of this puzzle too. The top is fixed, so align the rotatable puzzle part with that. The prize is an intricate wooden box.
Tap on the intricate wooden box in your inventory now. At the base you can rotate the yellow and white cross to open the wings of the box to make a star shape. Insert this star shape into the star hole on top side panels of the table to reveal a telescope for looking at the stars!
Look through the telescope and you will see a pattern.

Move quickly to the panel to the left of the big globe and enter those lights into the puzzle piece. You get the square piece of map and a letter.
Where are all the COGS in the COG eye? On another episode…?.

Use the eyepiece and you’ll see a yellow circle and a blue line on it. Move one of the center blue pieces onto the ring and turn it until its lined up with the ‘tail’ of the Q. Slide the blue piece onto the tail and then go to the other side and slide the other blue piece onto the ring and bring that down to the ‘tail’ of the Q. Then you have to locate a square plate to insert into the opening you’ve uncovered. I don’t know how long ago you posted, today’s date is 4/28 and on my post it says Jan 19, so you may have gotten this information long ago

Hi, it’s the 2nd time I’ve downloaded the game and I’m stuck at the same part! I’ve read the walkthrough to get up to the bit I’m at now to make sure I’m doing it right! I’m on level 2 on the last lock I think and I’ve opened the drawer at the top to get the 2 cogs, yet I only get one! Any ideas where there could be another?? Please reply as say as possible!! It’s driving me mad now! X.
Follow the walkthrough exactly Vickey. It’s worked for everyone so far and it’ll tell you where to find the second cog you’re looking for. Good luck!.

Hi im stuck on second Puzzle got the lamp lit and eyepeice in place but when i look Through cant see anything can anyone help pls?Also you say there is a clasp on top of Box definitely cant see this so cannot move forward in the game.
In the kindle tablet version, the drawer contains only a single medium cog. With two medium cogs and no small cog, cannot make machine work. Is the small cog hidden somewhere? I have reinstalled the game twice.
The kindle tablet version might be a newer version. Although it is unlikely, they might have changed some of the puzzles. Sorry for not being specific, but the truth is I don’t know why the cog would be missing :(.
You need the rubberband and the cogs are reusable.
I’m stuck on chapter 3….The clue reads “their was a hidden socket inside the panel that revolved when I touched it.” I don’t know where the hidden panel is…..Please help! I have the handle, but no socket.
